The Bishop of Elphin Kevin Doran has moved to quell the controversy surrounding his comments during a Newstalk radio interview last week when he spoke about gay people with children not being parents.
Bishop Doran told The Sligo Champion he was conscious that his interview on Newstalk on Monday 9th March "has given rise to much reaction.
