TOKYO – Pope Francis called for nuclear disarmament on Sunday in Nagasaki, where an atomic bomb was dropped by the United States in 1945. On Aug. 6 and Aug. 9, 1945, atomic bombs ravaged Hiroshima and Nagasaki and it was known what nuclear energy used for war could do.
