Gordon Toombs kept it a secret for 64 years that he was a conscientious objector during the Second World War. Now, at 99-years-old, he's opening up about his experience in his book, L74298 Toombs was a 21-year-old in training for the ministry of the United Church, attending the University of Saskatchewan during the war.
