IN April 1963 the cast and crew of the popular TV drama, Dr Finlay’s Casebook, shot some scenes for the new series. The doctor, played by Bill Simpson, drove his vintage 1931 Sunbeam car through part of Milngavie (main image) for a distance until the director yelled ‘cut!’.
