Pope Francis considered beginning his U.S. visit in September by entering through the Juárez-El Paso border, the pontiff said in an interview with a Mexican journalist. He decided against the plan, but promised to visit Mexico soon, according to a summary of the Thursday interview provided by Vatican Radio.
