The project is the brainchild of Tauno Laasik, who bought a farm 12 years ago in Põldmaa village, about 40 km from Tartu, and was initially a reluctant beekeeper after being encouraged into the activity by a neighbor. Searching for economies of scale in setting up some sort of beekeeping....
