| Mayors seek changes in leadership succession law |

Most of Guam's mayors on Wednesday called for an amendment to laws on mayoral leadership succession, since they believe the laws are unclear on whether there should be an acting mayor while Yona Mayor Jesse M. Blas has been placed in custody after an indictment. Yona does not have a vice mayor who would have automatically become the acting mayor.
