Tom Watson has slammed an attempt to oust him as Labour deputy leader. The MP for West Bromwich East revealed he had no warning of the bid to abolish his position, which was tabled at last night's meeting of the NEC, Labour's ruling body, by Momentum founder Jon Lansman.
