And what a night it was. I’m no fan of country music. The good news is, sometimes I think Skaggs is the same. A star in the early 1980s, when he was in his 20s, Skaggs went back to his bluegrass roots in the 1990s. He’s now 65 years old, and his Kentucky Thunder band plays bluegrass, with some country and gospel mixed in.
