| Shawn Mendes' pop appeal blossoms in Houston |
|
It's very, very easy to like Shawn Mendes. His songs are beautifully produced. His voice lapses effortlessly into a falsetto. He's steered clear of scandal. And he seems like a genuinely nice guy. Those elements were in play Thursday night at Toyota Center and have made Mendes one of pop music's most effervescent stars.
