He is survived by wife Gladys Leiawapuhi Pahulehua Kahale of Kekaha; sons, Allen Kaleionalani Kahale Jr (Nawai) of Kekaha, Jay Lalanakaiinilani Niau III of Kekaha, and Jacob K.
