Reverend Ian McNie, who is 64 and Minister of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Ballymoney, Co Antrim, was elected as the new Moderator on Tuesday evening. He was commenting on remarks by Fry to Gay Byrne on his RTÉ programme 'The Meaning of Life' which aired on Sunday.
