I've never met a microphone I didn't like. My first recording was reel-to-reel in Stratford at the age of three and included the best of nursery rhymes, with the coaching voices of my dad and mom in the background. "Bobby Shafto's Gone to Sea" was one of my favourites. It includes the line, "He'll come back and marry me, Bonny Bobby Shafto.
