The council decided to reinstate the prayer late on Friday after two days of online and talkback debate. “Out of respect for these concerns, we will return the prayer to our agenda immediately,” Holdfast Bay chief executive Justin Lynch said on Friday. Earlier in the week Mr Lynch said the prayer was dropped because it was considered outdated.
