I was in Penzance in Cornwall to do a comedy show about 10 years ago, and three times during the day I was told, “Don’t go to St Ives, Mark. It’s posh and full of snobs.” So that evening I mentioned this to the audience, and a woman shouted, “It’s true, they are posh – they’ve even got their own dentist.
