Joan M. Light, wife of former editor and vice president of The Buffalo News, Murray B. Light, died Tuesday. She was 89. The former Joan Cottrell was a certified financial planner and manager of investor professional services for Sorvan Securities of Williamsvillle, a real estate investment company, which she joined in 1984.
