MANILA ( UPDATED ) - Pope Francis has arrived arrived safe in Rome. He departed Manila on board Philippine Airlines flight PR 8010 Monday. The pontiff, along with his entourage and 14 members of the Philippine media, touched down at the Rome Ciampino Airport 5:40 p.m. Italian time, or 12:40 a.m. Philippine time Tuesday.
