Aug. 1, 1942 – Dec. 21, 2018. Rev. John L. Kuhlmann, who served as Catholic chaplain at hospitals in Dunkirk and Jamestown, died Dec. 21. He was 76. Born in Buffalo, the son of a real estate executive and one of seven children, he was a 1960 graduate of Canisius High School and attended St. John Vianney Seminary in East Aurora.
