4 of 36 From December 1957: City employees perform their annual job of erecting the Tree of Light in the City Hall park. The tree will be lighted in a ceremony Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. following a prayer of dedication. The lighting will be preceded by a Christmas music concert and carol singing.
