Even in mid-November, some of the summer flowers are still to be seen. One is feverfew, a small white daisy with very noticeable clusters of bright green, lacy leaves and the scent of camphor. Its name comes from its use as a febrifuge, a potion that relieves, or puts to flight, fever, and it was once commonly planted.
