| Nov. 13: Readers weigh in on Remembrance Day and other letters to the editor |
|
On the way home after a visit to my youngest at Queens, I turned the radio to CBC to listen to the Remembrance Day ceremonies. I just got static, so I put the local pop station back on. Suddenly at 10:55 the radio went silent. On came a reading of In Flander's Fields by Leonard Cohen. Then silence for two minutes.
