I woke to the terrible news this morning that 12 people, including four cartoonists, from the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo have been killed by three masked gunmen, apparently in the name of revenge for the cartoons they have published/will publish, satirising Islamic extremism and taboos of Mohamed the prophet.
