Bishop Peter Robinson was received at the entrance of the church where, following tradition, he had knocked on the door with his bishop’s staff. The clergy and vestry met him at the door and escorted the Bishop into the church. There he was shown those documents which indicated that the mortgage of the church was now paid in full.
