Senior cabinet minister Mathias Cormann has ruled out a switch to the lower house to replace Julie Bishop in her safe West Australian seat. New Prime Minister Scott Morrison has restored Senator Cormann to his roles as finance minister and the government's leader in the upper house after he resigned at the height of last week's leadership crisis.
