IT’S A WARM, sunny, late afternoon at Seattle Center, the first weekend of summer, and Whitney Mongé wants to run through the fountain SO bad. She looks enviously at the blissed-out PrideFest crowd sprawled on the lush grass in front of the Mural Amphitheatre stage.
“This is the best holiday of the year for us,” Mongé says.
