his Esso station is still located at the northeast corner of Church and Dundas Sts. While the price at the pumps is considerably less than it was a few weeks ago it’s no where near the price of the stuff back when this photo was taken in 1957. And remember, that 36.9¢ was for an Imperial gallon of Regular gasoline, translation: 8¢/litre.
