More reports are now emerging to suggest that a fifth boy, the first today, has been extracted from the cave network. A witness working in the rescue operation said the boy emerged on a stretcher at 4.27pm local time (10.27am UK time) and was taken to a waiting ambulance, according to CNN. This has not been confirmed by officials.
