The Wee Man from Strabane with the big personality declined - very unusually - to discuss the matter. It is the only issue that he puts off-limits. However, he segues into something more deeply worrying. "The bankruptcy thing was tough," he says as we talk in a small room in BBC headquarters in Belfast.
