This is a timeline of the actions taken concerning homelessness in Seattle, including the head tax proposed for some Seattle businesses. In mid-June, city officials said they had about 400 unauthorized encampments around Seattle. June 12: Shortly after 2 p.m., the Seattle City Council voted 7-2 to repeal the employee head tax.
