Alan and openly gay country artist Ty Herndon will host the third Concert for Love and Acceptance June 7 at the Wildhorse Saloon. Some say fans of country music – traditionally home to songs about partyin’ hard, lovin’ hard, workin’ hard and prayin’ hard – aren’t as accepting of those in the LGBT community as fans of other genres.
