2014-11-06 Vatican Radio Pope Francis has erected the Ecclesiastical Province of Dodoma in Tanzania. As a new Archdiocese, Dodoma now becomes a Metropolitan diocese with Singida and Kondoa as suffragan dioceses. The Holy Father has at the same time appointed as Archbishop of Dodoma, Most Rev. Beatus Kinyaiya, OFM Cap.
