Sergei Skripal, 66, was fighting for life in hospital today along with his 33-year-old daughter Yulia Skripal, after a "major incident" in the Wiltshire town. Russian authorities today described his condition as a "tragic illness."
Police have seized CCTV of a man and woman walking through an alleyway in their investigation.
