Hundreds of mourners filled North Dallas' Watermark Community Church to near capacity Tuesday in memory of Richardson Officer David Sherrard, who was fatally shot Feb. 7 while responding to a disturbance at an apartment complex. "We're here honoring a true hero," Richardson Police Chief Jimmy Spivey said.
