|
Our featured ensemble showcases very different examples of Renaissance music in this and the following Concert Hours. Separated by two or three generations, Josquin de Prez and Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina wrote compositions on "L'homme armé" (The Man in Arms), a tune widely recognized five centuries ago.
