The African Caribbean Community Centre on Trinity Road, Southampton, offered a range of activities, but in the 1990s dominoes were the thing. People came from all over the country to flip their tiles in the converted church. There were also club nights, at which a local MC DJ Flash – real name Neal Gordon – spun discs for assembled youth.
