With the advent of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) early this year in Guinea, hopes that Nigeria would be free from the epidemic were crushed when Mr. Patrick Sawyer, a Liberian-American, landed in Lagos. At the last count four persons had died while six were still battling for their lives.
