| Riley: When honoring Detroit's treasures, remember The Wright |
|
Ninety-nine years ago today, Charles Howard Wright was born in Dothan, Ala. He would become a young doctor – an obstetrician and gynecologist – and migrate north like so many black Americans, for better opportunity. His story has become entwined in Detroit’s history because he landed in the Motor City.
