SYDNEY, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Australia will assist the United States forces fighting against the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq, Defense Minister David Johnston said on Monday. The offer came ahead of AUSMIN talks between the U.S. and Australian defense and foreign affairs ministers in Sydney on Tuesday.
