Today's Morning Edition music is from "Best of My Love" by the Emotions, which was No. 1 on the Billboard pop chart 40 years ago. The Emotions started as three sisters singing together at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Chicago. They were known as the Heavenly Sunbeams when they hosted a Sunday morning gospel radio program.
