Diverging from an earlier position, Gov. Rick Scott on Monday echoed President Trump’s claim that “both sides” bore blame for the recent racially charged violence in Virginia, saying, “there’s no moral authority on both sides.” But hours after the governor made the statement, his press shop started to walk back his comments.
