Mr Gibson, from the remote community of Kiwirrkurra, served nearly five years of a seven-and-a-half-year sentence after being convicted of the manslaughter of Josh Warneke, 21, who was bashed while walking home from a night out in Broome in 2010. He walked free in April at the age of 25 when his conviction was overturned by the Court of Appeal.
