Erie County wants to spend $50,000 to assist human trafficking victims forced into sexual slavery and controlled through addiction to opioid drugs. The International Institute of Buffalo was the only non-health organization to be recommended for one of three county grants to help residents break the fatal grip of the opioid epidemic.
