CANBERRA, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Australia announced Thursday it would provide 5 million Australian dollars (4.7 million U.S. dollars) in aid to the hundreds of thousands of people fleeing violence in Iraq while expressing concern over the number of Australians who had joined the extremist cause.
