A state of emergency has been declared for the Township of Essa, which includes Angus, after what’s being described by Environment Canada as a ȁ#x201c;probableȁ#x201d; tornado. OPP Sgt. Peter Leon said more than 30 houses were damaged in the Angus area, including four houses with their roofs completely ripped off.
