AMERICANA Authentic country music is alive and well in the South, and these bands prove it. The genre doesn't look like it used to, though. Banjos, mandolins, and harmonica riffs permeate this year's heap of country/rock artists. But their take on the South's signature music breed is undeniably fresh.
