Dwayne Holstein — the man who was killed when he was hit by a train in Langley on June 13 — was no angel.
He had a short fuse and a long criminal history, which included assault convictions. Around the Vineyard Church drop-in facility, Holstein was known as someone who didn't back down from fights and started many of them, too.
