In Manila, parishioners of the Our Lady of the Abandoned parish in Sta. Ana camped out near the nunciature at 3 a.m., radio dzBB's Tuesday Niu reported. But as they could not get near the nunciature, they decided to stay near the Light Rail Transit's Quirino Avenue station.

Roads around Nunciature closed for papal visit
As of midnight, authorities closed the stretch of Taft Avenue from Quirino Avenue to P. Ocampo Street, radio dzBB's James Agustin reported. Pope Francis is to arrive at 5:45 p.m. and will be brought to the Nunciature via a motorcade from Villamor Air Base.
