Vermont religious leaders ask state to remember enslaved
BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) Some Vermont religious leaders are asking the state to confront its role as a location where Black people were once held as slaves and remember those individuals. Rabbi Amy Small of Burlington's Ohavi Zedek Synagogue says the common myth is that there were no enslaved individuals in Vermont.

Support for package described as completely underwhelming
A 16 million euro support package for pubs, bars and nightclubs has been described as 'completely underwhelming'. Two vintners' groups have hit out at the new package, which includes a grant of up to 35,000 euro for pubs that are now closed. It's also been announced pubs or restaurants who break Covid-19 laws will face closure for 30 days.
