Millions without power after Hurricane Zeta batters southern US
At least two people have died after Hurricane Zeta struck southern US states, knocking out power for more than two million residents and prompting a rare tropical storm warning for Atlanta. Zeta weakened over central Alabama but its strong winds continued across portions of the state and the Florida Panhandle early on Thursday.

Zeta weakened over central Alabama but its strong winds continued across portions of the state and the Florida Panhandle early this morning. The storm was about 50 miles west of Asheville, North Carolina, with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph.
