Hurricane Dorian's slow pace hinders Bahamas rescue efforts; at least 5 dead, officials say
Dorian has slowed to a crawl but maximum sustained winds still reached 145 mph, forcing people including first responders to continue taking cover. Minnis said the deaths were on the hard-hit Abaco Islands, and helicopter crews were evacuating the injured.

PICS: Hurricane Dorian pummels Bahamas with another 12 hours to go
